Controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has once again lashed out at singer Davido, saying his claim of acquiring a new house on Banana Island is a blatant lie.
The Nigerian artiste had previously revealed that he acquired his new home in the plush area with the revenue accrued from sales and streams of his 2017 monster hit ‘Fall’, which saw him singing about bananas.
“Moved to banana with money I made from singing about bananas falling someone …. Cruise,” he tweeted.
Kemi Olunloyo however accuses Davido of living a fake and clout chasing.
She said – based on him flaunting a private jet in the past, which in fact belonged to his father, to claiming to have bought his girlfriend a Porsche which she’s never been seen driving – she doubts his claims of buying an expensive mansion on Banana Island.
“David Adeleke didn’t post the title of his house. You told us you are buying a new private jet, it was your dad’s. Cooking show for Chioma, never launched, Porsche for Chioma never driven, Wike gave you money to groom artists, no artist. A sick audio clout life.”, she said.
Kemi dared Davido on Twitter to provide evidence of ownership of the property in question as it’s the only way to vindicate himself.
She continued, “In property law, a title is a bundle of rights in a piece of property in which a party may own either a legal interest or equitable interest. It also refers to a formal document, such as a deed, that serves as evidence of ownership. Post your title and deed papers #Kemitalks”.
It wouldn’t be the first time Kemi has sought to expose Davido by making several damning allegations against him on her social media pages.
In the past week, the journalist accused the musician of killing three of his own friends, who allegedly died from coronavirus.
