Dozens of celebrities in Nigeria’s music industry have been targets of assassination and must pray intensively to avert a spate of deaths as the year winds up, a Ghanaian pastor has warned.
Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi while delivering a sermon in his church on Sunday said a “demonic wind” is swirling towards Nigerian musicians and their Ghanaian counterparts, following the imposition of some spiritual attack.
The leader of God’s Crown Chapel said defunct music group P-Square – made up of twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye – must take their spiritual life seriously.
Pastor Oduro Gyebi, well known as Eagle Prophet, also mentioned names of popular turntablists DJ Spinall, DJ Perez, Dj Blaze among an undisclosed list of Nigerian entertainers who must crave spiritual fortification to overcome their untimely death.
Turning his focus to the Ghanaian music industry, he said envious people are working against budding talented musician Kuami Eugene and he may perish in a car accident this December.
Likening his death plot to late Ghanaian dancehall diva Ebony Reigns, who passed on in a tragic car accident about 2 years ago, Eagle Prophet said the Highlife star will be killed while travelling to his hometown during the festive season.
To forestall the doom prophecy, Pastor Oduro Gyebi urged all musicians in Nigeria and Ghana to rise up and pray for each other against any unforeseen attack.
