Popular Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to provide relief funds for Nigerians during the lockdown.
He recommended that the president provides N50,000 each for Nigerians to help them survive the period.
The Nigerian government has imposed a lockdown in some states including Lagos, Ogun and even the Federal Capital Territory has been asked to ban all movements due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Yul Edochie took to Twitter to lament the negative effects of the lockdown on the ordinary Nigerian.
According to him, people are hungry and they are in lockdown with no money.
He asked the president to urgently release at least N50k to every Nigerian to survive the lockdown.
Yul Edochie also stated that it is difficult for people to stay at home when they don’t have money.
