Burna Boy has declared himself the number one artist in Nigeria after he made it into the nominations list of the 63rd Grammy Awards for the second time consecutively.
The popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer ‘Twice As Tall’ album was nominated for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category at the 2021 Grammy Awards slated January 31.
A few minutes after Burna Boy was announced as a nominee in the 2021 Grammy Awards, he took to his Snapchat account to subtle shade Davido by saying; “Some people can perform but can’t sing, so people can perform and sing, Quality over Hype.”
Davido, who felt infuriated by the self-acclaimed African giant’s comment, took to his Twitter handle and replied to him by also saying; “Shey you sing pass Wande coal.”
Well, Burna Boy has once again taken to his Snapchat account to shade Davido and hailed himself as the topmost artist in Nigerian and stated that power has changed hands.
“POWER HAS CHANGED HANDS. ACCEPT AND MOVE ON.
“I BE NUMBER ONE BEFORE NO BE TITLE.” He wrote.
