Nollywood screen goddess Ini Edo has been reappointed as the Special Assistant to the governor of Akwa Ibom state on Culture and Tourism.
She was first appointed to the position in 2016 by Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, who has reinstated her.
The ecstatic movie star took to her Instagram page to share to the exciting news with her fans and followers, thanking them for their constant love and support.
Ini who shared stunning new photos of herself rocking a pair of structured pants and a stylish suit jacket expressed she was looking forward to “great accomplishment and milestones in the new era”.
She wrote: “Grateful to God and my Boss, His excellency, Gov, Udom Emmanuel for the reappointment to serve in the tourism sector of our dear State. I look forward to great accomplishment and milestones in this new era.
“God bless Gov Udom Emmanuel. God bless the Great State of AkwaAbasibom. God bless all my brown sugar family for your constant love and support. Everything good thing will come to those who trust in the name of the Lord.”
The actress in another post stated that it was about time the youths of Nigeria get included in the running of the country’s affairs.
She further urged people to never give up the good fight.
“Indeed, it is about time we the youths of this country gets included in the running of our dear country..especially as women.. Despite all the odds against us. We won’t give up the good fight. Keep dreaming, keep praying, invest in yourself.. so when an opportunity shows up, you should be prepared. God bless us all,” she wrote.
