Nigerian actress Adediwura Adesegha popularly known as Adediwura Gold has finally found love after staying single for 12 years since her last divorce.

The actress took to social media platform instagram to flaunt her engagement ring as she excitedly told her fans that she is in love again after her last divorce.

In an interview with Punch’s Sunday Scoop, Adediwura could not hide her excitement as she spoke about her new relationship.

She admitted that she had given up on love because she felt she could not cope with any man due to certain past experiences.

She added that she was partly to blame for her failed relationships because she carried a lot of baggage from her previous relationships into the next which always was a problem.

“Definitely, I am excited. I am happy finding love again. At some point, I thought I wouldn’t be able to cope with any man again because of the past experiences I had.

“I always brought my past to my present and it usually affected my relationships.

“The men would get tired in between, and sometimes, I just switched off. But I thank God that I am now able to scale through” she said.

Gold maintained that being single for 12 years had taught her some lessons that would help her in her new marriage.

She said, “I have seen and learnt a lot; I can’t even mention all. I won’t allow what happened to me during my past marriage to occur again.

“While single, I had many experiences with lots of guys, and I believe that with the little knowledge I have now, nobody can tutor me on relationships again.”

Speaking about her new boo, she said they had been dating for about three months before they finally decided to take the next steps.

She made it known that she did not expect him to propose but did not care because she liked him and he helped her fight her personal battles.

“It has been on for about three years now but I never believed he would propose. I just felt he was somebody I liked.

“He helped me fight my personal battles. Being a typical Yoruba babe, I just wanted to have someone around that I could call my boyfriend. But everything later happened for good,” Adediwura said.
