Twitter users blast Yvonne Nelson for blaming the ‘Sex for grades’ scandal on female nudity

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has come under fire on social media after she blamed female nudity for the recent “Sex for grades” scandal in University of Ghana and University of Lagos.

Recall that on Monday, an explosive documentary showing some lecturers trying to have sex with students in exchange for favours was released by the BBC Africa team.

The video has sparked a conversation on social media with some celebrities adding their two cents to the issue.

Yvonne Nelson, a popular Ghanaian actress also had her say but unfortunately, her view of the situation did not go down well with social media users.

According to Yvonne,sex for favours is in all sectors of work and school and it is sad that these men are always interested in the body and not the brain.

She then added that women do not cover themselves anymore and are quick to flaunt their bodies on social media therefore these things will not stop anytime soon.

Her comments angered some of her fans who called her out for suggesting that female nudity is the cause of the actions of these predators.
