This year would mark a decade since Nigerian singer Davido set out to become a musician – a career he pursued at the tender age of 17.
Throughout the years he has worked hard to become one of the most influential singers to come out of the continent.
It’s not been an easy ride for the DMW boss but hard work, perseverance, and vision has kept him relevant in the music industry to date.
Davido took to his Twitter page to remind the world that 2019 would be his 10th year being an entertainer and revealed that he is proud to have accomplished a successful career so far at the age of 27.
“It’s crazy I’ll be 10 years in the industry this year! Not bad at 27”.
This was in response to a tweeter who retrieved an internet record of Davido second single Dami Duro which was released in 2012 off his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo
