The rivalry between Nigerian rappers M.I Abaga and Vector appears not coming to an end anytime soon as both artistes have been at each other’s neck in a serious musical banter.
While many have declared M.I as a Hip Hop “viper”, others believe he is no match for Vector whose lyrical prowess is unbeatable.
But UK-based Nigerian singer Joyce Joseph Ekwuazi, popularly known as Willie XO, has called on his compatriots who are currently at odds with each other to stop their beef through diss songs.
The singer advised M.I and Vector to rather channel their energy into rap battle to make profit from their rift.
According to Willie XO, he is willing to drop N20 million for a face-off rap battle between the two great rappers to settle their animosity once and for all.
He said if the M.I and Vector agreed to it, the winner of the battle would take the cash prize.
The singer also called on anyone who has the finance and is willing to drop money to add to the N20 million.
He wrote: “Been following M.i and Vector’s beef. It’s a great time Nigerian hip-hop fans. The energy is dope. I say let’s drop the beefing and turn that energy into Mulla.
“I’m dropping ₦20million on the table for a faceoff rap battle between Vec and M.I, winner takes all. If you wanna add to the 20M, hit me up, let’s raise the stakes.
Willi XO added, “Let’s take it to eko hotel! Young rappers open up and have M.i and Vector make this a classic showdown in Lagos. Gate fee go dey too o… Who’s coming??”
