Popular Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has spoken against the recent cases of police brutalities in the United States of America (USA) and Nigeria.
George Floyd, a 46-year-old African-American, was killed while in police custody in Minneapolis on Monday.
Former policeman Derek Chauvin, 44 and white, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear in court.
Also in Nigeria, police have reportedly killed a 17-year-old girl, Tina Ezekwe.
Wizkid took to his Twitter page, to lament police brutalities in Nigeria and America.
“Police dey kill black Americans and Naija police dey kill Nigerians. No man fit sort this matter. God save us”, he tweeted.
Wizkid noted that only God can save people from the ongoing situation.
The singer is currently abroad and may not return to Nigeria till borders are opened.
