Nigerian social commentator Abisoye Olukoya Michael, popularly known as Oyemykke, has expressed his disappointment over Fireboy’s lack of visual presence in the music industry.
Fireboy has been the talk of the music scene since he dropped his album titled “Laughter, tears and goosebumps”.
His album has topped charts in Nigeria, Ghana and several other countries in Africa.
Social commentator Oyemykke believes that despite his success in terms of music, he is still quite unknown amongst people and this is because he hardly shows his face in public.
Oyemykke added that Fireboy needs to put his face out there so that fans can easily associate the music with the artiste because even as a fan, he still does not know what Fireboy looks like.
On instagram, he wrote:
“Fireboy SHOW US MORE OF YOUR FACE
“I am still a huge fan of Fireboy, incredible talented but if I don’t say this thing ehn, my heart no go rest.
“Management , Camera Crew, Get To Work. This guy could potentially be the next Superstar”
