MultiChoice is urging persons interested in participating in the Big Brother Naija season 4 contest but could not make it to the auditions held on February 1 and 2 to take advantage of the special online auditions scheduled for Monday, February 25 to Wednesday February 27, 2019.
A statement from the organisers released on Thursday said potential contestants are expected to record a two-minute video of themselves stating why they should be selected.
“The online audition is open to interested participants who must be of Nigerian nationality and 21 years of age, with a valid international passport. They also have to be active DStv or GOtv customers,” it stated.
Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe explaining further noted that the move is to give “more Nigerians one more chance to be a part of the biggest reality TV show on the continent”
“We’ve seen how much the show continues to resonate with Nigerians and it’s our desire to create more success stories from the BBNaija platform.
“We are excited about this new twist and ask that more Nigerians take advantage of this novel opportunity to actualize their dreams of getting into the BBNaija house”.
Meanwhile the 2017 runner-up Bisola Aiyeola has been detailing how the television reality show has propelled her to greatness.
According to her, “Big Brother Naija is an amazing platform to actualize your dreams and goals. It is important for incoming housemates to make use of the platform to advertise their skills to a continent-wide audience, as this is an exposure that will change anyone’s life for good.”
Bisola, who before joining the contest in 2017 was on a music talent hunt show, Project Fame West Africa in 2008 where she placed fifth, says she became more popular after participating in Big Brother Naija. She argues that joining the contest was fruitful to the extent that she had a management deal from The Temple Management Company, a firm which has bigwigs such as Don Jazzy, Iyanya and 9ice under its wings.
