Adeyanju accuses Charly Boy of treachery, quits ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ movement

Human rights activist and member of the “Our Mumu Don Do” movement, Deji Adeyanju, has announced his resignation from the group as he has accused the convener, Charly Boy of betrayal.

Mr. Adeyanju who was recently released from prison in a tweet claimed Charly Boy betrayed the cause of the movement while he was in police custody.

The said development, according to him, has made him lose confidence in the leadership, hence his decision to resign.

His tweet read: “Dear Nigerians, I have resigned my membership of Our Mumu Don Do. I no longer have confidence in the leader of the movement, Charly Boy. He betrayed the cause while I was away in prison and compromised with the oppressors. Thank you.”

It is unclear what exactly Charly Boy did as Adeyanju failed to state in plain language, except accusing him of following the steps of politicians.

He quizzed: “How can we speak up against politicians, then turn out to be worse than them?”

“Our Mumu Don Do” movement is a coalition of concerned Nigerians who fight against corruption and injustice in the public offices.
