A few days after Blessing Okoro was arrested for flaunting a mansion belonging to billionaire Onye Eze on social media as her own, the Instagram blogger has broken her silence.
She had shared a picture of a 7-bedroom duplex on her Instagram handle, claiming that she built the house after her ex-husband threw her out of his one-bedroom house 8 years ago.
But it turned out that it was all a lie as the real owner of the property caused her arrest and made her apologise in a video over the deceitful act.
Speaking after the shameful incident, Blessing Okro, also known as Blessing CEO, said no serious action was taken against her, amid threats.
While thanking her sympathizers and critics all alike, the blogger said there’s no cause for alarm as the episode “will die down naturally” just like any other event in the past.
“I am very ok. Am not been held. No cause for alarm,” she wrote. “No police no station no detention. Thanks lovers. It will pass”
A video which sees Blessing being forced to renounce ownership of the property and apologise for lying to her followers is making the rounds online.
She was also compelled to do a live video on her Instagram page, telling them that indeed the property does not belong to her.
