Actress Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill’s marriage was characterised by razzmatazz, pomp and pageantry and was heralded as one of the most colourful ceremonies in 2015.
Two years after, what was regarded as a beautiful union began tattering. Trust died and mistrust blossomed as there were allegations of infidelity against the husband.
Things had fallen apart; the centre couldn’t hold!
As a lady, who had so much love for the husband, she was hurt. In fact, she has every right to be hurt. Not only for the wasted years but having received treatment for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) severally, thanks to ‘promiscuous’ Churchill – not our claim; hers!
But for how long will she continue to harbour the pain and groan over her loss?
It’s been two years since they separated but Tonto Dikeh clearly has not gotten over it as she keeps re-echoing the past and lambasting Churchill.
What really is her problem? She should give us a break!
Has she ever thought of how her unnecessary rants would affect her son? Truth is, her quest to let everyone know she is the victim, for which reason she’s bitter is rather making a mockery of decency and respect.
Indeed, no thoughtful individual will go to the extent of washing the dirty linens [if any] of a man with whom she has kids, in public. It is barbaric and irrational.
Having changed the surname of their son King Andre to Dikeh, the Christian is all over the place defaming Churchill, alleging that he is an occult, a fraudster, a cheat, a worthless man, an imbecile and one who cannot last in bed for more than 40 seconds.
Funny enough, this same 40 seconds duration of sex led to the birth of King Andre who Tonto Dikeh loves and cherishes than any other thing on the planet.
What is even more astonishing is the fact that she has openly mentioned that her son thinks his father is dead. Ridiculous!
While Tonto Dikeh kept roaring, Churchill was relatively quiet until he was pushed to respond to allegations he squatted in Tonto Dikeh’s house at the initial stages of their relationship before proceeding to marry her.
He debunked the claim and went on to petition the Inspector General of Police, alleging that the actress forged ‘ownership documents’ of his Toyota Prado SUV and sold it.
He stressed that he had had to petition the IGP “not for the purpose of recovering the said vehicle from Miss Tonto Dikeh or any other third party, but for the record and documentation purposes, and to absolve our client and Big Church Group Limited of any liability in the event the said vehicle is being used for any illegal purpose…”
Prior to making these remarks, Tonto Dikeh had vowed to disgrace Churchill and his mother till they confess their evil deeds.
What offence has Churchill committed that cannot be forgiven? If it borders on criminality, the police station and the courts are not for beautification purposes.
If it’s personal, then one begins to wonder why she cannot forgive the ‘poor’ husband considering the fact that she preaches Christ on social media every day.
Perhaps, she has not yet come across chapters of the Scripture which talk about forgiveness, particularly Matthew 18.22 which says: “Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!”
Or even Ephesians 4.31-32 which reads: “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
In the midst of all these accusations and Tonto Dikeh’s unforgiven posture, she has engaged in a brawl with colleague Funke Adesiyan, who like several others cannot fathom why she is still bitter after two years.
In fact, Funke described Tonto Dikeh as “toxic” and a “disgrace to womanhood”. Arguably, Funke was just charitable because Tonto Dikeh in her response gave credence to the descriptions.
“Say this to my face when you see me… I will break your mouth, I promise,” – how ladylike!
Well, a counter reply from Funke should be enough to wrap up this piece.
She says: “My dear, there’s so much you can become without the shadow of your ex. Break free and abound. The future is so big.”
Hopefully, Tonto Dikeh won’t describe this piece as “stupid” like she did to comedian Funny Bone’s.
